About the Exhibit
Sorin Bica is a contemporary artist based in the Boston area.
While he is frequently sought for his unique large scale figurative style, he is also creating drawings, cartoons and abstract paintings. His use of intense color could be seen through-out his work.
Sorin Bica was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1965. As self-taught artist, he began his career drawing political cartoons back in his native country. In 1988 he moved to the USA where he was able to fully develop his artistic passion.
His studio is located in Framingham MA where he has been an active artist at the Fountain Street Studios since 2007.
