Everyday there are countless factors that influence my artwork. Many of my landscape images are inspired by places I have visited and are personally significant. These places are meaningful to me not only for their obvious picturesque beauty, but also for the raw hidden beauty and the natural phenomena that transpire for them to exist. My monotypes and paintings are re-examinations of these places.
To create my image I use Oil Based Inks, which are applied to a plexi glass plate and transferred through an etching press onto to a high quality etching paper. After the print dries, color pencil may be incorporated to highlight certain areas.
