I am inspired by the creative world.
Sights, sounds, senses. All different artistic mediums are exciting to me. While the beauty of creating a visual image enthralls me, I did not find my creative outlet through painting or drawing, but rather in a mechanical device-my camera. This vehicle gives me the avenue to explore and see beyond the ordinary. With this discovery, my vision was no longer stifled within, but rather permitted to be expressed. It opened my mind’s eye into a world many others do not see. It gives me the vehicle to allow the viewer to take a peak within.
My photographs explore beyond the mere view, but rather allow the viewer to travel into the depths of the image. The visual imagery of a photograph should enthrall and invite questions. Why is this so? What happened so that each particular image is captured as such? What is the story? Who has been here before? For me, a photograph should engage the viewer to explore beyond what might be or what might have been. It should evoke a sense of wonder and emotion.
