Bonnie MacLeod is a highly versatile and accomplished pianist, singer and composer. She combines a fascinating aand eclectic array artistic influences in her performances. Her gifts have brought her around the world including Europe, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and North Africa. Having lived in New York for 17 years, she appeared at such venues as the Rainbow Room, the Waldorf Astoria and Windows on the World. She also appeared in several off Broadway productions including Noel Coward's "Waiting in the Wings". She has performed on Regency Cruise Lines with itineraries featuring Alaska, South America, the Caribbean and New York-Montreal. Her original compositions for piano are beautiful, delightful and diverse. Her influences include classical, jazz and impressionist techniques. Robert Sherman of WQXR FM Radio in New York City calls them ",,,,,,delightful and sensitive piano miniatures". Bonnie now lives in Boston. She has most recently performed in her own one woman cabaret show entitled "Nice Girl Plays Mean Piano" running both in Boston and New York at Don't Tell Mama. Featured were her humorous patter and saucy selections like "Peel Me a Grape", "Mambo Italiano", "Ten Cents a Dance" and a selection of classical and jazz piano favourites. She is a member of the Board of Directors of The Boston Association of Cabaret Artists and performs regularly at the Amazing Things Art Center's Open Mike evenings in Framingham. She also performs with The Boston Minstrels, a group of highly charged singers and entertainers who present musical fun for those in homeless shelters, soup kitchens and hospitals. Her music continues to delight her audiences, and to bring artistry and excellence to her craft.
